Fireside Design Studio is a brand and marketing studio operated by Stillwater Media, Inc., a corporation based in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this policy, "Fireside," "we," and "us" mean Stillwater Media, Inc. doing business as Fireside Design Studio.
This page explains what information we collect through fireside.design, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We keep it short on purpose. If something here is unclear, email us and we will answer plainly.

We collect information you choose to send us. That includes:

- Website URL and details about your business when you request an assessment
- Anything you write in a contact form, a project inquiry, or an email
- Subscription details if you sign up for our newsletter, Smoke or Fire
We do not collect payment information through this website.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the site, standard web analytics collect basic technical information. That includes IP address, browser and device type, referring source, pages viewed, and time on site. This is aggregate traffic data. We use it to understand what people find useful and to fix what is broken.
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and site functionality. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings. Blocking them will not lock you out of the site.
How We Use Your Information
We use what we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry and prepare an assessment or proposal

- Send newsletters and occasional marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers.
Who We Share It With
We share information with service providers who help us run the business. These include our website host, customer relationship and email platforms, analytics providers, and cloud storage and productivity tools. They only get what they need to do their job, and they are bound by their own privacy commitments.
We will also disclose information if we are legally required to, or if it is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Use it and you are off the list. You can also reply and ask, which works just as well.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop messages related to active work, like invoices, file deliveries, or scheduling.
Data Retention
We keep inquiry and client information for as long as it is useful for the relationship, and after that for as long as we need it for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. When it is no longer needed, we delete it.
Your Choices and Rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop sending you marketing email
Email info@fireside.design and we will handle it. We may need to verify who you are before acting on a request about someone's data.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law. If you believe a specific law applies to you, say so in your request and we will treat it accordingly.
Children
This site is built for business owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.
Third Party Links
The site links to other websites, including client work and tools we recommend. Once you leave fireside.design, this policy no longer applies. Read theirs.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a transmission over the internet is safe from interception. Do not send sensitive personal information like account numbers or identification documents through website forms.
Using This Site
A few things worth stating plainly.
This site is information, not an offer. Nothing here creates a client relationship or a quote. Actual work runs on a separate written agreement signed by both of us. If that agreement says something different than this website, the agreement wins.
Case studies are examples, not guarantees. The results shown on this site describe what happened for specific clients under specific conditions. Marketing outcomes depend on your market, your operations, your pricing, and your follow-through.
The content here belongs to us. Copy, design, photography, case studies, and the Fireside name and marks are ours or licensed to us. Read it, link to it, quote a line with attribution. Do not republish it wholesale. Client logos and work are shown with permission and belong to those clients.
Utah law governs. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
Changes
We may update this page as the business changes. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
